The next day the two girls woke up and had a boring breakfast of muffins. Alli said she wished she had some pancakes. Salli wished for omelettes. They went down to the basement and checked on their dad once more. Yep. Still there.

The money wasn't rolling in like the two girls thought it would so over breakfast they tried to think of new ways to earn money.

Salli tried painting. Alli tried gardening but all of their ideas sucked. Salli looked at Alli who was tired and dissapointed. She said "i got an idea. Lets go out for lunch!" So the two kids headed out to the mall to eat at the food court.

After a yummy ribs dinner, the two girls headed off to the arcade.They both missed their daddy and the little things he used to do for him like making their favorite foods for breakfast and taking them on little outings to the mall or the amusement part. When Salli saw how sleepy Alli looked she called a cab and the two girls went home. It didn't take long for both girls to be sound asleep.

The girls woke up the next morning to find everything covered in snow. They squealed and cheered as the tv anounced it was a snow day. They went outside and had a great time throwing snowballs at each other and making snowmen. In fact they had such a great time that they almost forgot about the whole situation with their dad.

When Salli and Alli got cold they headed in the house. Alli wanted to discuss how to divy up the chores. Alli said she'd make muffin for them if Salli would do the gross stuff like take out the trash and clean the toilet.

Salli new better than to argue with her bossy sister so she willingly cleaned the toilet and took out the trash. "Why do I always get the hard chores?" Salli said in a huffy mood.

A couple days passed and before they knew it, it was the twins' birthday. As the twins grew from child to teen they thought of their dad and wished he could be here.

Then they heard someone walking towards their room. It was their dad! He had finally awaken after 8 days stuck inside his experimental hibernator. He said "What is going on here? Where are my two little girls?" The two girls told their dad about everything that happened since and he had to admit that he was proud of them.

This sounded like such a cool challenge that I had to give it a try. Lucky for me, it only takes 8 simdays to finish.

 

The Gieke Family

Chester Gieke is a mad scientist living in Pleasentview. He has two twin girls named Alli and Salli. Since his wife Bianca died Chester hasn't had much time to work on his important experiments. He has to wait until either the kids are busy or at school.

About Alli

Alli is the oldest by a minute and a half. She finds amusement in bossing her sister Salli around. She is very girly and loves everything pink. No matter what Salli doesn't agree with anything she says. They argue constantly. She loves music and wants to be an actress/singer/model someday. Alli thinks Salli is so immature and in need of a makeover.

About Salli.

Even though Salli is a minute and a half younger than her sister she doesn't think Alli should be bossing her around. It seems that she and her sister will never get along no matter how hard she tries to keep the peace. Salli is a tomboy and loves doing anything that makes her sister mad like catching  bugs and shoving them in her face and drawing on her face with a marker while she is asleep.

Ok. Back to the story.

So anyways, Chester has been working on a new invention of his some kind of machine that puts the person in it into a deep sleep. He has been waiting for the perfect opportunity to try it out, but the kids take up most of his time. He finally gets an opportunity when the kids are at their friends house. He carefully gets inside the hibernator and the door snaps shut.

By nightfall the two girls are home and are having a good time playing that they aren't even thinking about where their dad is. As the clock struck ten Salli asked Alli is she had seen their dad. Alli was about to put on her pajamas and get ready for bed when she told Salli to go see where he is. She was ready for her bedtime story and he better hurry up because she was feeling sleepy. Salli went downstairs to her dad's basement lab and looked all over for him. She spotted him inside some weird machine and called for her sister. Alli rushed downstairs in a huffy mood saying "well where is he?" Salli pointed to the machine and said "in there." It took a while for the girls to give up on trying to get him to wake up. Then Alli asked what 8 days meant. Salli guessed that maybe that's how long he will have to stay in there. Alli got all panicky. She even started to cry saying "i want my daddy." Salli felt bad seeing her sister cry and told Alli that they can take care of themselves.

Making money is tough when you're a kid.

The next day, Salli got up early and went downstairs to check on her dad. Yep, he was still in that funny contraption. Alli followed her complaining that she was hungry. The had muffins from Alli's little oven. Alli was still upset. Salli tried to cheer her up. She told Alli "i know we can go fishing. i'll even bait your hook." Alli agreed and Salli was glad that they had something to do to keep their minds off of the situation. Will fishing Salli asked Alli what were they going to do about money. The family didn't have much money to begin with because they had to pay all of their mom's medical bills before she died of sickness. They decided to sell the fish and boots they caught. They had enough money at the end of the day to celebrate with a nice chinese dinner.

Crazy Cat Lady Challenge for Sims 2

Finished!

I was so tired but I couldn't go to bed. Looks like lightning has taken my place on the bed. Great! There goes another 20 points!

I awoke the next morning from sleeping on the couch. My neck and back were both so stiff I could barely move. I refilled the food bowls and cleaned out the litterbox. I then called all my kitties so that I could pet them. I only counted five. Fae was there. Phoenix was there. Lightning was there. Magnus was there. Astrid was there. Kobe on the other hand wasn't there. He had run away. I was devistated. Another 20 points down the drain. I called and reported Kobe missing and the guy on the phone said he'd help me find him.

Later that evening Fae grew from a kitten to a full grown cat. Isn't she cute?

The day after Fae's birthday, I was still depressed about Kobe running away. The animal control people have still not found him. I needed a diversion to get my mind off of it. I was going to play a good game of chess but unfortunately Astrid was in there totally annihilating my chess table. I couldn't get her to stop. She totally distroyed it. Ugggh! There goes another 20 points.

Astrid's destruction of the chess table brings this challenge to an end.

Me and my kitties lasted a whole 3 and a half hours.

Crazy Cat Lady Challenge for Sims 2

After I finished the Rags to Riches challenge I decided to quit my sweet job in the paranormal career and become a crazy cat lady. Presently I'm getting my little house ready for six kitties. I put out 4 of everything my kitties will need. Here is a piccie of me preparing food for my kitties.

I decided I was going to adopt some cats and take in some strays. Here is my first cat, Pheonix. The animal control woman just brought him over.

Next a different animal control woman brought me a cute little kitty I named Fae. Awww. So wittle!

I adopted a third cat I named Lightning. He likes to sit on the couch and watch tv. I think I blends in really well with the orange sofa. Maybe he was a chameleon in his past life.

Then I took in a stray I  renamed Magnus. His favorite thing to do is lay by the lake and watch the fishes.

I adopted the fifth kitty who I named Astrid. She is so mischevous. She has already destroyed my cute orange armchair. Bad Astrid! Too bad I can't scold her.

 My last kitty is a stray I took in named Kobe. He's really agressive and totally addicted to the scratching post.

After work, a fellow co-worker, Toby Brueng asked me out for lunch. Unfortunately, his choice of restaraunt was a fast food burger place. Look what horrible manners this man has! Even if I didn't have a boyfriend I still wouldn't date him. 

On my days off, I would practice painting. My painting may suck for now but one day I'll be painting masterpieces. Mark my word!

Okay, so I still haven't painted a masterpiece yet. I'm not giving up. For now I think I'll try my hand at writing novels. This should be so easy. One day I'm going to write a book on how I went from having virtually nothing to having massive wealth. Hey! A girl can dream. Can't she? 

Okay writing takes too long and I have a baby and a job to worry about. Oops, I forgot to mention I had a baby by my boyfriend. Her name is Mia. Sorry, I don't have any baby pics. Here is a pic of her in her toddler phase.

I finally made it to the top of the paranormal career. I'm a cult leader and everyone listens to everything I have to say. I say frog and they jump. It feels good having so much power and the money isn't bad either. Check out what I go to work it. Sweet!

Mia had a birthday today and I'm so glad. Now that she goes to school I don't have to worry about who is going to watch her. She's a sweetie and smart as a whip. She reminds me of her dad with her dark hair and eyes, but I think she takes after me in the face.

Yay! I finally got enough money to finish building the house. It looks so nice. You could never guess that it use to be a tiny shack. Now that I've finished building onto the house and advancing through the paranormal career I think I'll start skilling. My lifetime want is to max out all my skills.

Mia is a teenager now. She is looking more and more like her dad every day.

She decided she wanted to live with her dad because she wanted to get to know him better. I made her her favorite breakfast food pancakes. After we ate breakfast we said goodbye and she got in the cab. I'm still teary eyed. I'm going to miss her.

I've finally maxed all my skills! I'm finished! It was a hard but fun challenge. I think raising a kid made it even more challenging. Mia is in college now and I'm staying in the house. Right after I reached my lifetime want, I retired and now I'm going to do the crazy cat lady challenge.

Rags to Riches Challenge

An awesome challenge on modthesims where your sim tries to make it to the

top of the carreer ladder starting out with as little as possible.

My sim for the challenge

I decided to use my self sim for this challenge. I left my boyfriend and moved out of our swanky witch manor and bought an empty 3x3 lot where I'll be living for the entire challenge. I only have 500 simoleons so I'll need to learn how to stretch my money farther.

So far, I've only been able to buy the bare necessities. I have a cheap sofa, a sink, and a toilet. This stuff should help me keep my comfort, hygene, and bladder motives stable. For now I'll have to use community lots for food.

Hey DJ!

I spent all of my cash on the little bit of stuff on my lot. What am I going to do? I decide to head over to a small club and DJ. The crowd was really into it and I made 100 simoleans. After that I came home and searched the paper for a job. I found a job as a psychic phone pal starting tonight. I hope the cash starts rolling in.

I had a great night a work and even got a promotion. I used that money to build some walls around what little possessions I have. After that I still had a little money left, so I invested in a small matress and a book shelf. This is what my tiny little house looks like.
